FIRST FINANCIAL EMPLOYEE LEASING, Inc. is a Florida based Professional Employer Organization (PEO),
marketing in Florida and Georgia. The company was incorporated in October of 1995 and began operations in March of 1996. The company is regulated by the Department of Business and Professional Regulations under license number GL-145. FFEL is a
joint effort of Bruce T. Smith and Larry J. Bennett, co-owners and principals of the corporation.
Since its inception, FIRST FINANCIAL EMPLOYEE LEASING has seen dramatic growth in sales over the past 13 years.
This has been accomplished through a marketing strategy of direct sales, agency involvement and
referrals from existing clients, with an emphasis on excellent customer service.
FFEL currently services over 2,000 clients with more than 20,000 leased employees
and processes over $500,000,000 of annual payroll.

Bruce T. Smith is the former owner of J. Smith Insurance,
a property and casualty insurance agency located in Port Charlotte, Florida since 1957. Mr. Smith’s knowledge in the insurance industry has allowed him to negotiate and manage excellent workers' compensation policies for our clients.
Larry J. Bennett
Chief Operating Officer
Larry J. Bennett is the owner of First Financial Services of Charlotte County, a full service investment brokerage firm and a life and health insurance agency. Mr. Bennett’s background in both of these areas has allowed FIRST FINANCIAL EMPLOYEE LEASING the ability to offer its clients and employees superior benefits and retirement plans.
